SAVE THE DATE FOR CELEBRATE LIFE
Sunday, September 11, 2011, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The Buena Vista Pregnancy Center’s tenth annual Celebrate Life 2011 is shaping up to include new and exciting opportunities for walkers, cyclists, bikers, and runners. It’s not too early to make plans for this special day, the Pregnancy Center’s primary fund-raising event.  
   
The theme this year is “Side by Side, One Step at a Time,” and we are encouraging folks
to form Life teams as they raise funds for the Center. Teams can include family, friends, neighbors, or people from your church who will pool their resources and participate “Side by Side” at the celebration.

The suggested team donation toward Celebrate Life is $1,000 while Lone Ranger types are asked for a minimum $50 support.  But remember, you don’t have to donate the funds yourself  . . .  be creative!  Consider a group yard sale, a bake sale, or a neighborhood clean-up day to raise your “donation.”

You and your teammates can do it and be cheered by other teams in friendly competition with you. You’ll be partners as you raise support for the Center and enjoy naming your team. Be creative as you design matching outfits to distinguish your team and play up your Celebrate Life t-shirt.

Funds raised from Celebrate Life will go toward assisting young men and women develop healthy parenting skills, nurture healthy relationships, and prepare for their future. Among the resources available to Pregnancy Center clients are maternity and infant clothing, formula, car seats, gas and food gift cards, and numerous essentials for new moms and dads.

So save the date, Sunday, September 11, 2011. See you there.
