Although you won’t see our booth at the Gold Rush Days held in McPhelemy Park, You will find our BVPC volunteers at City Market on Saturday, August 13 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.. If you aren’t supporting another organization with your City Market card, please stop by our table to sign up. Every time you make a purchase at the store, a percentage will be donated quarterly to the BVPC. Last year, approximately $3,200 was donated to the BVPC through the City Market Cares Program.

This year you will also see some new faces. Our new Mentoring Program for fathers was started May, 2010 and the four new men counselors, along with a couple of clients, will be joining us. They are excited to share about the “Quest for Authentic Manhood” program and will be encouraging fathers to check out the BVPC and what it offers fathers.
