CELEBRATE LIFE 2016!

On Sunday, Sept. 18th, the Buena Vista Pregnancy Center held its 15th annual Celebrate Life fundraising event. The gorgeous Colorado fall weather added to the beauty of the day. Alan Purcell’s fabulous voice filled the air while kids played in the bounce house, decorated bikes for the bike ride and were entertained by Owen the clown who made marvelous balloon creations. Alan Purcell and his wife Dawn then gave an amazing testimony about their journey with their son Isaak who has Down’s Syndrome. They spoke of the blessing Isaak has been in not only their lives, but whoever has the privilege of meeting Isaak. This special guest brought to light the purpose of the event - to Celebrate Life. The more than 300 attendees then rode bikes, ran or walked through the town coming back to a delicious meal of hamburgers and hot dogs cooked by the Knights of Columbus. What a great group of men! A drawing with prizes for all age groups was held and many walked away with big smiles. Many thanks to all who made the day possible. Always remember, life is to be celebrated!
